Dont spend your life living in regret because opportunities slipped right past you. Be confident in everything you do. The most successful people in the world are confident, they expect to accomplish amazing things daily. Imagine how life would change if we all had this mentality. Ive put together a list of 5 Hacks To Improve Your Confidence. Use this!

* Visualization
The first of the my 5 hacks to improve your confidence is my favorite, visualization, It doesnt just sound cool, it really works! There are actually studies that have documented cases of people who visualized and became successful. Imagine yourself doing amazing things, see it happening to you. Then put yourself in the feeling of actually having those things accomplished. I like to look at it like im wearing 3D Virtual reality glasses, but im in control of every outcome. Practice this habit daily.

* Be Around People That Uplift You.
If your looking for confidence you first must look within. BUTTTTT…your external environment must be on point as well. If your inner circle consists of people who swear the world is ending, and say nothing but negative things about their life and others, it would probably be a good idea to keep them at a distance. The second of my 5 Hacks to improve your confidence guide is being around people that uplift you.

* IAM Mantras.
This is the most important. I am mantras are phrases or a series of phrases that target the goals you are trying accomplish. This is how it works. Start by saying I AM, then say whatever it is that your looking to accomplish, a goal of some sort, then end by saying I am. For instance, if one of your goals is to become a school teacher you would say “I am A SUCCESSFUL SCHOOL TEACHER I am”. You are basically inserting your goals and aspirations in between I AM. When saying your I AM mantras you must have the feeling that the goal has already happened. Number 3 of my 5 Hacks to improve your confidence list is performing I AM Mantras. Say these mantras in your head, not aloud. Imagine how happy and confident you would feel if you knew you were accomplishing everything you set out to achieve. Do this daily for 5-10 minutes.

* Celebrate Your Accomplishments.
This is often over looked when it comes to being a successful person. Recognition of your accomplishments is a great way to keep your head held high throughout the day. Compile a daily list of all your successes no matter how small they may be, doing so will create that superman/woman mental mindstate, and allow you to actually see that good things do happen in your life.

* Take action.
The more you take action on a specific goal, the greater your confidence becomes. Strength lies in repetition, set out to do something and expect positive results, then watch how much better you will become at it. This goes for anything you want to achieve. Stop fearing the rejection, you a one step closer to your destination. A lot of times we are too afraid to take action because unknown territory is being explored. Embrace the unknown, feed off the adrenaline, and get excited about your talents. Always remember You Are The Shit!!!

Bodybuilders have insane focus on their diet and body weight. Their goal is to become monuments of perfection. After a hard week of intense training, there are some that choose to have a “cheat day”! A day where they get away from intense dieting to relax, indulge, and reenergize. Im a huge advocate of the mental cheat day regardless of what your goals are, I feel its a necessity. One cannot go extra hard for an insane amount of time without burning themselves out. Taking a chill pill allows your mind to recover.

Focusing non stop without a break can really affect your creativity. When I know Ive been going hard for a consistent period of time, that off time is a must. Once I reach the point that I’ve hit a road block I know its time for a mental cheat day. Im not saying this is for everyone, but from my experiences and the experiences of others Ive talked to, this day of “doing you” is the wave. Since I started getting involved in music over 10 years ago, I’ve used the mental cheat day to my advantage. Not only will you feel revitalized, but you will also find more mental clarity in your area of focus.

Once you get back to the “hustle and bustle” of your craft its amazing how things start to fall into place. New ideas flow due to your mental cheat day. Ideas that would not have come to you if you didnt take a break. Some people feel that taking a break allows others to catch up, but in all honesty that break will leave you mentally primed to take on more than you initially could. I always tell my clients your break through could be a cheat day away.
